Carlings had at the end of 2012 a total number of 193 stores. 88 of these were located in Norway, while the remaining 105 were spread throughout Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Carlings is radical and rebellious. The fashion is personal, music-inspired and speaks the teenager’s language. The target group is girls and boys 15-30 years of age. In addition to its own jeans label, Carlings carries a broad assortment of world-leading jeans brands, such as Levi’s, Diesel, Lee, Fornarina and Miss Sixty. In the next few years the chain will open new stores in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The success is to be ensured by further developing Carling’s image as the cool store for those in the know. The chain markets itself through its own stores and, not least, the style and service-mindedness of the employees are important for the Carlings brand. The chain also sponsors rock bands, music festivals and other cultural arrangements.
